Flying Woks have catered for numerous private & corporate Chinese New Year Celebrations and public Chinese New Year event such as Melbourne's Crown Casino celebrations and we will love to help you too.
Many corporate clients hold staff lunches with us, celebrating Chinese New Year, serving Yum Cha delicacies and delicious Noodle Box fare.
We have appeared over the years at many public events and community groups to celebrate this special day, with cuisine on offer such as Shanghai Chicken, Beef & Black Bean, Pan Fried Pork Dumplings and Steamed Pork Buns (Bao) to name a few.

It is such a wonderful time to be in Melbourne around the Lunar New Year, there are so many events on and we are excited to part of it all.
Whilst the various Chinese & Vietnamese communities celebrate in their own special way, City of Melbourne and various other councils go to great lengths to strengthen our connection to China and our history going back to the Chinese coming to Victorian goldfields in the 1800's.
Since then the Chinese community in Melbourne has contributed to our city's success in so many productive ways one of the most obvious benefits is the diverse cuisine that has been embraced by Melburnians and tourists alike.
Melbourne has some truly impressive Chinese restaurants and Flying Woks does its best to capture the flavours of the Orient in its own special way.
The Lunar Year is an exciting for us and our clients, with many companies celebrating this monumental occasion with us providing dumplings, peking duck crepes & authentic Chinese stir-frys.

Our pork & vegetable pan fried dumpliings are to die for, with many clients pleading for us to do deliveries, (which we dont do.) Yes they are hand made by an artisian producer here in Melbourne with auspicious Asian ingredients that make them the best of the best, and your staff will love them !
