Anton Hooton - Creator of the wok catering market, founder of Flying Woks
It all started back in 1998 when Anton had been surfing around the world......enjoying incredible authentic foods from the hawkers stands and warungs in Mexico, Hong Kong & Indonesia. Melbourne at this time was still unsure of it culinary position in the world....spit roasts and Chinese take away were the status quo.
Hmmm...what if ... a unique idea was born by Anton and he started holding wok parties at his home, as a means to alleviate the boredom of his day job..an accountant! Word got around fast of what he was up to and he was so busy wokkin' on, he gave up his boring job and re-invented himself as the wokman. Now the business is all woks blazing, employing many dedicated staff and Anton can still be found out and about wokkin....when not overseas discovering exotic delicacies |

Chris Hopkins - Administration & Customer service
Chris is the operational heart of Flying Woks. She manages the everyday administration always with a smile on her face and our clients know her for being attentive and cheerful. From receiving the clients' calls and tending to their requests to organizing the teams of wokkers, arranging the office and running around doing all sorts of errands, she helps to make Flying Woks run smoothly. She truly is a wok wonder woman!
