Are you organising an event that requires exceptional quality food and an upbeat, enticing atmosphere, we can serve you.

Flying Woks created the Asian catering market back in 1998 in Melbourne and has subsequently appeared at over one thousand private and corporate events.  We have an enviable reputation, just ask an event manager or large catering company, many have used our services many times over.  We can help you too.  We relish the opportunity to sit down and chat with you, visit venues, discuss menus and work out what works best for you.  We specialise in Asian noodle box, yum cha & entree/appetiser foods, all cooked on-site, on-show. It is truly unique and special.

• Official Caterer at the launch by City of Melbourne of the Birrarung Marr Park, provided noodle box food & Asian appetisers.
• Provided stir-fry noodle box food at the  Official Launch of the 2005 Melbourne Food & Wine Festival at the Melbourne Arts Centre
• Toyota (Airport Essendon) had Flying Woks cater for the launch of their new premises, serving customers in their showrooms.
• Coca Cola Amatil had us cook an Oriental lunch for staff break up party at their factory.
• Stockland Property Group had Flying Woks cater for the launch of their new residential development in Maidstone, Victoria
• National Australia Bank has employed us several times to cater for their staff luncheon in Fitzroy Gardens.
• Other catering companies such as The Big Group have sub-contracted their client's Asian catering request to Flying Woks.
• Delaware had Flying Woks cater for hundreds of their hospitality staff for their Christmas party at the Melbourne Gaol.
• Many Event Managers have used Flying Woks to cater in the homes of their celebrity clients.
• Stokehouse St Kilda employed Flying Woks to produce 1000 serves of noodle box & yum cha for customers on New Years Eve.
• Korda Mentha has had Flying Woks cater on the top of their Collins St building for 100 staff for their Friday night break up.
• Sole external caterer to the public at the 2007 New Years Eve, Federation Square.
• Tooheys Brewery employed Flying Woks to cater for their guests at the Birdcage Flemington on Oaks Day.

Please note; we are happy to deliver after your function your left over food (or keep it for yourself) to Prahran Mission which is near our offices.  Trevor from the mission receives our raw vegetables and stir-fry's and happily serves it up to the community for a yummy lunch the following day.
